A word from Bonnie, the 'S'more Neptune' costume creator:

Neptune is sure to bring you s’more fun this Halloween! Sandwiched between graham crackers with a gooey chocolate and marshmallow center, he’s getting all toasty over the fire.

We made the graham crackers out of foam board which we covered with tan fabric on both sides. We cut out brown felt dots and lines and glued them on the foam board crackers to look like the cracker design. We covered a top hat with brown felt to look like a piece of chocolate, with extra chocolate drips coming down also made from felt. We attached the top cracker to the top hat to hold it up. We added a chocolate bar to the bottom graham cracker using kitchen sponges. We cut them into pieces to look like the squares on a chocolate bar, then spray painted them brown and glued them to a piece of foam board painted brown. We made the marshmallow part of the costume out of white craft foam, which we glued into a 3D disc. We then cut a hole going through the marshmallow, chocolate bar and bottom graham cracker so Neptune could wear it over his head. We made the fire out of craft foam pieces. We cut flame shapes out of red, yellow and orange craft foam, then glued them together and pinched them in place to give a fire like look. For the logs, we cut up pool noodles into pieces and painted them shades of brown. We completed the scene with large craft foam marshmallows and a giant chocolate bar and graham cracker box made from foam board and poster board.
