Castaway Wilson and Chuck Noland Costume

I found the idea from the Internet and thought it was a simple and creative idea!

How Wilson was created:

The ball: Bought a 36 inch beach ball off Amazon. Then paper mâché the ball by using flour and water, turning it into a thick paste. Keep adding enough flour so the paste becomes thick and heavy. Cut up strips of news paper and dunk the strips into the paste. Then placed it around the beach ball. Beach ball was on a bucket during the paper mâché. I did four layers of paper mâché, first three using newspaper and the last using white paper. Letting each layer dry before the next! Carved holes for my arms with using a knife. Then used my hand to paint the face onto the ball.

Headpiece: had a headband already and just tied palms on it that I found around the apartment!

Tom Hanks: Went to goodwill and found tan shorts and a long sleeve shirt (it was cold obviously!) cut up the pieces of clothing and then used a brown and black sharpie to make them look dirty.

facial Hair: Ordered a hair and beard wig off Amazon as well!

Tan: Used bronzer on the face neck and body if you decide to go shirtless!

Package: My friend works at FedEx and got luck enough to have a box!

Cost: Around 25 dollars! Could be even cheaper if you already have materials!
