Ravager Baby Groot Costume

My seven year old son loves Baby Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 , so he had to be Baby Groot for Halloween. We could not find any costumes to his liking. So we had to make one.

We enlisted his grandmother in sewing up the outfit once we located the fabric, along with some 3D printed parts I made. I used foam pipe insulation, an old pair of shoes, and hot glue for the feet. I made the hands from an old pair of gloves that I glued on some flexible 3D printed parts. Then the mask, I drew a 3D model of Baby Groot's head, 3D printed several parts in flexible material. I connected all of the parts, added some lenses from an old pair of sunglasses, modified them as need to fit, and added a fan to the top of the mask to keep him cool and the lenses from fogging up. I finished by painting everything and adding the little spout on top of the mask.
