Headless Bride Costume

My daughter and I have had a tradition of making her Halloween costumes, and this is her in this years creation. We found the inspiration online and went from there. Cost was about $40 Here is the short version of steps:

1. Put on old shirt you can cut off once done
2. Duct tape torso and shoulders really well
3. With scissors and help from someone else (cut shirt and duct tape)from top to bottom and slide out of shirt.
4. Re-tape the shirt back together where it was cut
5. Used an old plastic pitcher and broke off the handle and drilled out bottom with hole saw to use as the neck.
6. Paper mache over all the duct tape 2 layers
7. Built frame with plastic plumbing pipe, set in drawstring bag and used tape to secure all of it together
8. Add fake Blood to wedding dress and pool noodles for arms Hot glued glove with ziti noodle for fingers
9. Candy went in the neck with a piece of silk glued together as as a chute into backpack

We got so many compliments while trick or treating and won 1st place in our small town contest.
