This homemade costume for kids entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Angie, the 'Scuba Divers' costume creator:

My daughter 3 years old and son 18 months are wearing homemade scuba costumes that my husband and I made. We both just started scuba diving and my oldest child wants to scuba dive to so we had the idea to make them costumes this year as divers. It cost us $15 total to make these. We already had the goggles and snorkle and we buy pop every week so we only has to buy the foam paper and straps that go in the pop bottles and the spray paint.

Would you be interested in selling the 3 year old costume??? How or what did you use to attach bottles to the child, it's hard to tell from photo.

Where did you buy your straps? And is that card board that you put the bottles on and how did you get the bottles to stay? Please let me know your secrets!! :) Thank You

What foam did you put inside the bottles? Did you spray paint the outside of the bottles?

How did you attach the straps? When I use hit glue on the bottles it starts to collapse.
