Carl Fredricksen and Russell from Up Costumes

Last year my husband and I dressed as Carl Fredricksen and Russell from Up. He was Carl, I was Russell. We got most of our materials from Goodwill and other thrift stores, including his tweed-like suit and my shirt and hat. I added accessories to my costume using iron-on transfers for the hat and pennant, small buttons and a piece of fabric for my sash, The backpack, shorts, and hiking boots I already had. Then we just added a balloon bouquet I got from the party store and we were set!
