William ready to hit the road
|Costume type:||Costumes for Boys|
This homemade costume for boys entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Sarah, the 'WILL-E' costume creator:
My 3 year old son William is obsessed with Wall-E so this year I made him a “Will-E” costume.
I used an old diaper box painted yellow with brown and orange paint added for dirt and rust. The tires were made by peeling pieces of cardboard apart revealing the bumpy texture underneath and then painted black. I used old cereal boxes bent into shape and covered in duct tape to make the eyes. Because I used so many recycled materials I already had around the house this costume cost me about $10 to make (for the yellow paint). I’m thrilled to say that William loved it and happily wore it trick or treating door to door.
