Sonic the Hedgehog Costume

My 10 year old son AJ is wearing the costume. Sonic is his favorite. He wanted a mascot costume but they are around $100 online so I though I would try to make one myself. I spent a total of about $30, mostly on fabric. The head is paper mache, the spikes are made from foam and the whole thing is covered in fabric. I used my Cricut to cut out the eyes and then a see through fabric in the middle. I ended up having to make the eyes bigger because he couldn't see very well. The shoe covers were taken from another costume and then we added a pair of gloves. Once I got the whole thing complete my son pointed out to me that Sonic has white trim around the tops of his shoes and the end of his sleeves. So I added this in at the end. It was a tough costume but turned out better than I predicted. Thanks, hope you like it!
