This homemade costume for girls entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
My daughter Madlyn is wearing the Rainbow Brite costume that was mine from 1980's when I was 4 and 5 years old. My mother made it 30 years ago and saved it for me all this time! Madlyn is 5 and now and loves it! I am pretty sure its based from the 1984 McCall Pattern #9254 and cotton stuffing with a felt rainbow belt! I also saved all of my Rainbow Brite dolls from and in this photo she is holding my Vintage OJ Sprite doll.
