This homemade costume for women entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Kristina, the 'Maine Brook Trout' costume creator:

I work at Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, and about a year ago I said to my artistic co-worker, "Wouldn't it be cool to have a Brook Trout costume?" He agreed that it would and so we went to work. He did all the work! We started with a mattress pad so that it would appear to be somewhat scaly, like a fish. He then spray painted, airbrushed and finger painted the designs of the Brook Trout. Added some fins, a zipper and a hole for my head and it's been a huge hit!!

It's beautiful! Would it be possible to borrow or rent this? A good friend of mine is a retiring biologist who has fought to protect and rehabilitate brook trout habitat and restore populations in northern Ontario with the Ministry of Natural Resources. They are holding a costume retirement party for him the day after Halloween. I would like to honour him by dressing as a brook trout so I can thank him from the fish. Please let me know if this might be possible!

I am the owner of this costume. I would consider renting it out, but I would have to charge a rental fee, plus you would have to pay for all shipping charges, shipping one way is around $60. Please e-mail me at kristinarae82[at]gmail.com to have a rental discussion.

Will you rent?

Costume not for sale, but can be rented. Please contact me at kristinarae8(at)gmail.com to discuss future rental options.

However, it is already being rented for the 2015 season.
