Coca-Cola Vending Machine Costume

I made this costume for my son JJ two years ago. He wanted to be a vending machine (of all things).

BODY
Made out of a cardboard box, with head and arm holes cut. The box was then covered with duct tape and spray painted a glossy red. The Coca-Cola decal was a decal that was purchased on Amazon which turned out to be the perfect size! A large section of the front was cut out and replaced with a sheet of plexiglass (hot glued from the inside)

INTERIOR
Each soda bottle was emptied, and labels carefully removed. The bottles were spraypainted and the labels reattached, giving the illusion of filled bottles.
An interior box was made using foam board that the bottles were hot glued to (but gave the appearance that they were resting on the shelves.

FINISHING TOUCHES
I created fake buttons, keypad, and money collector out of cardboard.
A battery operated LED rope light was hot glued around the interior edge of the plexiglass. The end result looked like a working vending machine!
