This homemade costume for girls entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
This is Alice, from "Alice in Wonderland", aka Sophia ;) None of her clothing is homemade however, her house is. Super easy! A cardboard box, paint, and a few small pieces of wood for the steps & shutters.
