Weather Family Costume

My husband was the weatherman. He wore clothes he already owned (I only made his microphone with a styrofoam ball and cardboard tube/box). I made an easy sun/cloud sweatshirt for my son using felt and some stuffing. My daughters rainbow was pool noodles held together with lots of kabob skewers. It also had a dowel in the back holding the rainbow arc shape. The clouds were lots of layers of cotton spray glued together. My rain cloud started with a large rimmed hat that I added a cardboard layer to (to make the rim larger). I then attached endless cotton stuffing with spray glue and then spray painted it grey to make it look a bit stormy. The rain drops are various felt material attached to string.
