Washing Machine Costume

Marvel is modeling her Samsung washing machine costume. We love to make a new homemade costume together each year to enter in local costume contests. This year we saw a few homemade washing machine costumes and decided to add our own spin!

Supplies needed:

1 box
1 medium laundry basket
1 small laundry basket
White paint
Glue sticks
Hot glue gun
Clothes hangers
Silver serving tray
Printer/computer for logos
Small bottle of detergent/softener

Instructions:

Find a box that will be large enough to fit the torso, but not inhibit leg movement. Cut hole for head at the top and two on the sides for the arms. Cut bottom out of box. Paint the box white. Cut the bottom of the medium laundry basket and hot glue around the head opening. For the logos, you'll need a computer and some editing skills to print out the brand logo and the dials on 2 separate 8.5x11 pieces of paper. You will need an 11x14 piece of paper for the internal washing machine parts. Glue the internal parts paper to the silver serving tray than glue it to the box. Glue logo to box. Glue the detergent/softener bottles to the top of the box next to the laundry basket. You can make it your own with socks, pants, undies around the basket and box. Add a small laundry basket for candy collecting and you are done!
