A word from Fabiam, the 'Ursula' costume creator:
My love for female villians inspired my creation for Ursela. The wig was orginally a Rodney King wig but i hair sprayed and styled it. The mask was that of a fat man with a cigar, but i cut the face out to fit it around my own and have the fat chin. I glued that to my skin and used latex to blend it. I then used professional makeup to create Ursela. The dress i bought at value village which was for a witch costume. I stuffed it and cut slits to drape around the tentacles i made. Those i made with felt stuffed with sinthetic filler and put forming wire inside to shape them in any direction. I made the eel scarf from a snake fabric also stuffed it and cut out teeth and glued them aswell as the wood bead eyes. I spray painted my white heels purple. Lastly, the shell is real. I drilled a hole put it on a necklace and painted it gold with a mix of acrylics and nail polish.
