Tornado Costume

My husband, myself and friend Neesha created this costume for my 7 year old son Caden. The tornado was basically a tomato plant cage - fit over my son with some changes. The clouds were stuffing you can find at any store- for pillows ect.we stretched the spider web material you find around the cage. We then spray painted for the color effects. and glued pieces on. We made a storm cloud above his head attached with a wire and placed a strobe light in the cloud to give the effect of lightning. The picture on the costume is of our Welcome to our town sign that I took a picture of and glued to the costume to give it that special effect. As far as the idea, it just popped into my head and we brainstormed from there. I have never seen one quite like it. We had alot of fun making the costume and showing it off. IT WAS THE TALK OF OUT TOWN!!! (cost around $25.00)
