Queen Elizabeth Back from the Dead Costume

I am a Juan Figueroa, a 15 year old high school who enjoys dressing up. In the pictures you can see me wearing the "Queen Elizabeth Back from the Dead" costume. I decided to create this costume after watching the movie "Elizabeth." After a few weeks of thinking, I decided to add a twist to the idea by adding the concept of death.
I made the costume with curtain fabric. I cut all the pieces out and sewed them together myself. I used lace and fabric stiffener to create the collar. Under the dress are three petticoats I made and a bustle pillow to support the dress.
The costume took about a month and a half to make. I also had to prepare for the costume a month in advance; I corset trained for a month in order to achieve the proper waist size for the costume. The costume took four hours to put on. The dress alone took forty minutes to put on, it was so large and complicated I need held to put it on. Even though the dress was uncomfortable, it was fun to have on. I hope you enjoyed looking at my costume.
