A word from Toni, the 'Pokemon Machamp' costume creator:
My 5 yo son is wearing the Pokemon Machamp costume. It cost about $25 and was very little sewing involved. I used a "retired" Captain America suit and an Iron man suit that i ripped the arms off (both from Goodwill) then i picked up a pair of black briefs and a thin aqua belt i also found at goodwill. We spray painted the costume with 2 cans of Aqua Rustoleum spray paint. I stuffed inserted pipe insulation (think pool noodle material) into the arms to hold them up and be lite weight and those are both inserted onto a painstick that is tied to his shoulders/back with the aqua belt. The only sewing i did was at the feet to form the toe area like a "W" and then i stuffed that and sealed it shut with duct tape. The headpiece luckily came with the captain america costume because it worked out great to insert the cardboard fins into. i just cut them to size duct taped them and then inserted them and duct taped them in to the hood. i crafted the buckle with yellow felt and a marker and the moth i just crafted with yellow felt as well and attached with a few stiches under the eyes of the hood. The gloves i found at Michaels already that color and just put them over top. i did have to sew the fingers into a fist for the fake hands.
