Phoenix Rising Costume

I’m wearing the costume, and also handmade it myself! It came together last minute ( as it always does for me somehow!) and I’m thrilled with the result! I got the red sequin corset from eBay, and added some flame detailing to it, the red sequin boots I found at goodwill ( luckily in my size!). The wings were from an old pair of angel wings that I spray painted red, then added a BUNCH more feathers to bulk them up and give them volume and a much better shape and look. The headpiece was a bird beaked masquerade mask that I added tons of feathers to and though you can’t tell in the photo, was lit with orange flicker lights for a flame effect. My makeup was red, orange, yellow ombré that had a flame effect. Overall pretty happy with the result!
