This homemade costume for women entered our 2011 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Megan, the 'Peacock' costume creator:

Megan is wearing the costume. She wanted something that would be different but sexy at the same time. We got a corset and glued royal blue feather pad all over it and then glued capri blue rhinestones on the breasts and along the sides. The black tutu has green rhinestones glued all over it. then we took a piece of cardboard and glued the feathers to the cardboard so then you could slip the cardboard with the feathers glued to it in the back of my corset. Then took one of the blue feather pads and glued it to a string of gems and used it as a head piece.

Hi Megan, I would be interested in buying one of these if you'd be willing to make another. Let me know and do you have an email address?

Do you know approximately how many of the pads you had to purchase to fill the corset?

Where can I find the blue feather pads?

No one ever replied to me however I did my own research and made a Flamingo costumes using pads. I went to this website. Fast shipping! and awesome quality! https://www.tonyhill.net/

I used 24 pads to cover my corset completely with no gaps or corset showing and I am a size s/m person. Hope that helps someone else in the future!
