Nintendo Family Costume

Our inspiration for our family idea came from our son deciding he wanted to be “dry Bowser.” After quickly looking up the character (I had no idea what dry Bowser looked like) I knew that I was going to have my work cut out for me. Each costume was created after scrolling through Pinterest for hours on end! We knew we needed a baby carrier costume and the Mario sliding down the green tube worked out perfectly! My mother-in-law crocheted the infant Mario hat. My daughter insisted on being Princess Peach, of course. How-to: lots of love, tears, sewing machine skills, paper mache, hot glue, hot glue, more hot glue! Materials included one of everything from Hobby Lobby.
