This homemade costume for groups entered our 2023 Halloween Costume Contest.

Hi.
Emily asked to be Jasmine for Halloween, so I built her a magical flying carpet that she and her brothers (Iago and Abu) road. This magic carpet was motorized and remote control driven, built from a heavy duty steel dolly, aluminum extrusion, lumber, cardboard, a microcontroller communicating via bluetooth, motors, a battery, wheels, etc. with some synchronized LEDs, and handles so the kids could hold on tight, this had much more power and torque than I anticipated, even some of the adults (including myself) road around on this for an hour, haha.
