This homemade costume for women entered our 2022 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Shannon, the 'Mad Hatter' costume creator:
Shannon made the costume and is wearing the costume. Found all separate pieces at thrift stores for 50% off. Had some left over fabric at home and lots of hot glue sticks. I found a tie and sewed it into the bow tie. Used dollar store thread spools for bandolier. Clearance lace from Walmart for $1.90. And the hat is made from cardboard, fabric and hot glue gun. Hat puns are made from hanger wires and buttons. Total cost of whole costume was $25.00
