This homemade costume for girls entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Gloria, the 'La Muerte' costume creator:
Mia is wearing a homemade La Muerte costume from The Book of Life, her favorite movie. She wanted this unique character costume because she likes skulls and being different then other kids. I used fabric, a thrift store dress, dollar store flowers, party streamers and mini spoons for the candles, I hand painted the mask and loads of hot glue! 8 hours roughly went into this costume and approx. $75 to make.
