A word from Basma, the 'Hocus Pocus Sanderson Sisters & Billy' costume creator:
1st Picture: Basma Battah is on the left, playing the role of Mary. Maryam Battah is second, as Winifred, Danielle Cannon is the third, playing Sarah Sanderson and Shane Cannon is last, as Billy.
The idea came randomly. We were all thinking of what we wanted to be for Halloween and the Sanderson Sisters idea was brought up. We have never seen anyone dressed up as the sisters so we figured it would be a perfect costume idea!
For Mary sanderson's costume, we bought a wench costume. We also bought a yard of quilt patters from Walmart and sewed it onto the skirt. We made her cape out of a blanket; all we had to do was sew a button onto it! She also wore res and black striped stockings and black boots. For her hair, we took a coat hanger and dozens of bobby pins/hair ties/headbands, and wrapped her hair around it. We also sprayed blue hair spray in a spiral pattern. For her makeup, she had red lipstain, false eyelashes and dark eyeshadow.
For Winnie Sanderson's costume, we bought a renaissance dress and a green hooded cape. We also bought lace gloves and cut out the fingers. She is also wearing green and black striped stockings with black Toms. For the hair, we bought a "Queen of Hearts" wig and pinned it to look like Winnie's signature hairstyle. For her makeup, we took lip stain and colored in the middle of her lips. She also had red blush and dark eye shadow.
For Sarah Sanderson, she wore a pink corset and 2 skirts she found at the Salvation Army. One pink skirt, and one purple. She also cut them up to match Sarah's style. She wore purple and black striped stockings with light brown boots. She bought a black and purple cape from the halloween store. For her hair, all she did was curl it with a Wand. We also bought gloves from the halloween store that matched Sarah's gloves. For her makeup, she put on red lipstick, false lashes and dark eye shadow/eye liner.
For Billy, he wore black leggings with dress shoes and boot covers, to match Billy's actual boots. We also bought a suit jacket and dress shirt from the Salvation army and tore it apart. We also bought a white scarf. We rubbed his clothes in dirt. We bought a rockstar wig and pulled the hair back into a ponytail. For his makeup, we painted his face green and then used black and white paint to outline his features, including "stiches" on his lips.
The second picture we uploaded is a closeup of us. It makes it a little easier to see the details of the makeup.
