This homemade costume for women entered our 2022 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Elizabeth, the 'Gone in the Wind Carol Burnett' costume creator:
Photo #1 I am wearing this costume as a tribute to Carol Burnett. She wore this costume on her show during a skit of "Gone with the Wind" I made this costume out of a pink and red prom dress, with a hoop underneath. I then sewed drapery material around a curtain rod and draped it over my shoulders and down the front of me. For my hat, I sewed the same material around a piece of cardboard and tied it to my head. I am wearing a black wig with curtain tie backs under my hat and around my waist.
