Garden Gnome Costume

I made this costume for my 4 year old son. So easy and super affordable. Red felt hat, sewn and stuffed with fiberfill. I already had the felt and used a old pillow for stuffing. The beard is just a small piece of white fur from the fabric store. I glued it to the hat. The shirt is a old denim dress of my daughters, I just shortened it. Black pants we already had and black rubber boots that we also already had. I cut them down shorter with scissors. It’s hard to see, but he already had a construction worker dress up utility belt with a little leather pocket and leather loop. I made a “seed packet” and had it sticking out of the pocket and a little shovel in the loop. I wanted to make him a costume that was easy for him to wear. I did line the beard with felt so it wasn’t as scratchy. I love gnomes and my little guy rocked it!
