This homemade costume for babies entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kathy, the 'Cute Scarecrow' costume creator:
My 6 month old baby girl Jasmine Jade is wearing her Scarecrow costume I made for her.
To make the costume I simply purchased a pair of bibs at a used baby clothing store for $4.00. For the patches and the hat I purchased the materials at JoAnn Fabrics for around $20.00. All you do is cute the patches you want and place them around to see where you like them before attaching them with the hot glue gun. For the hate I measured my daughters head and then made the bottom circle just a tad bigger. I chose to make the top part of the hat first and then to got clue it to the bottom piece before I cut out the hole for the head. This was easier to work with.
This was a very cheap and easier project and I think it turned out adorable on my daughter.
