This homemade costume for families entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Lacy, the 'Princess Leia and R2D2' costume creator:
"Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope". I made both mine and my sons costume. His R2D2 costume is made from a laundry basket and flower pot that is covered in duct tape. It also lights up just as R2D2 does.
