This homemade costume for girls entered our 2023 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Roza, the 'Cleopatra' costume creator:

Inspiration:
My inspiration for this project stemmed from the concept of a "divided man costume," where it appears as if a man's body has been severed in half, and his legs are suspended beside his torso. After viewing a tutorial demonstrating the creation of this optical illusion, I found it to be a captivating idea. Subsequently, I decided to construct the artificial legs and a chair to execute this concept within my costume. The choice of Cleopatra as my costume theme was influenced by my brother's reluctance to dress up for Halloween. To accommodate his comfort level, I devised a costume that concealed his face, resulting in a mummy costume. To complement his attire, I opted for a Cleopatra costume.

Construction Process:
