This homemade costume for girls entered our 2022 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Elizabeth, the 'Cinderella - with a Regency era twist' costume creator:
My daughter decided to be Cinderella this year, but that felt a little boring. So I decided to make a costume as if Cinderella lived during the regency era. I found some soft, velvety blue gray fabric at a thrift store, as well as a formal dress with the perfectly colored skirt. After making a top and frankensteining the bottom, I came up with passably Regency era dress.
