Cabbage Patch Doll Costume

My daughter who was a miracle born into the family after years of infertility issues. I thought of this idea when I was younger that if I had a daughter her first costume would be a cabbage patch doll. We have a tradition in my family, passing down a doll to the next generation. I’ve collected cabbage patch dolls for the past 23 years, I love playing with them and now my daughter loves playing with them also and they’re still in great quality. I used a big box and cut out the frame to make it look like an original box, I bought yellow wrapping paper, I made the flowers out of construction paper, I printed out the original label of cabbage patch logo. I created a cabbage patch wig using a pattern. This costume was a lot harder to make then I expected, but I enjoyed every second of it. I brought my childhood to life! The finishing look was the box went over her car seat. We recently had a festival and she wore and she had all eyes on her, it was so awesome seeing the older women excited seeing their childhood in real life. Woman as old as 70 years old were tears of joy! It was a happy proud mommy moment! Everyone was taking pictures of it.
