This homemade costume for women entered our 2023 Halloween Costume Contest.

I’m wearing this costume and I also made it.
Growing up I’ve always loved TMNT and loved April O’neil so much.
I wanted to recreate Aprils iconic yellow jumpsuit from the 90’s
My jumpsuit is made from vegan yellow leather aka pleather
Complete with pockets and knee and elbow patches
I also styled the hair/wig. It’s actually two wigs stacked on top of each other and then cut into style
I wanted to be extra tall and fun so I bought a double platform boot in white. My mask is made of silicone and makeup applied
I couldn’t find a camcorder but found this vintage camera In a thrift shop that I thought worked well
