This homemade costume for families entered our 2023 Halloween Costume Contest.

My husband is a gardener, and my two daughters and I are dandelion flowers all at different stages of life. My 5 month old being a little bud flower. I made all the costumes using green and yellow foams, acrylic paints, a child’s helmet, felt, skewers, white floral tape, a styrofoam ball, a headband, an elastic strap, skewers, twine, yarn, and hot glue. I did not see anything - the bee bracelet is a stuffed animal I wore around my wrist with elastic.
