1st President 1st Halloween Costume

This is my son on his first Halloween dressed as the first president! My sweet baby George Washington is wearing a wig (hand made from batting material to make pillows) I sowed it to a white winter hat so it is easy to put on. The hat is a children’s pirate hat that I could the skull with an American flag of the 13 original stripes and colonies(hand painted). His shirt is a thermal blue shirt I added creame fabric to to make it look like a vest. The ruffle neck was an old decorative towel I cut and hand sewed. The pants were pulled up to his knee to look like knickers. And underneath he was actually wearing little girl white tights. I love my little president!
