The Invisible Man Costume

Scrolling through Google, looking for ideas for this years costumes, I came across a woman who created a vintage style invisible person costume for each of her children, as well as herself and her husband. It was adorable! I just had to try it, but I put my own twist on it, and instead of vintage, we went with stuff we had around the house, which is more of a hip hop kind of style. It was actually quite simple to make, I didn’t have to purchase any supplies. Everything used for this costume, was laying around my house already. I just duck tapped a piece of cardboard to a backpack, and draped a button up shirt over the top of the cardboard. Then I hot glued a pair of glasses to a hat, and a wire hanger from the hat to the cardboard. It takes a couple of cuts on the sides of the shirt for the person who wears it to put their arms through, it makes it so that it looks so realistic. I had allot of fun and everyone at his school is raving over how real it looks.
