This homemade costume for families entered our 2021 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Cassandra, the 'Spongebob Crew' costume creator:
Husband is Patrick. Wearing a pink bodysuit with a Patrick face shirt and some clearanced shorts from Dicks. We then hotglued the Hawaiian print from purple felt swatches.
I am Pearl. I made the head from a cardboard box with a lid. Grey fabric is covering the box with hot glue and felt is used for the nose, tongue and the eyes were made from extra chair cushion batting from my daughter's costume. My outfit was found at local Goodwill with the letter "P" hotglued on.
Daughter is Sandy. Bought the helmet online and used white under clothing bought from Goodwill. Jacket is made from cushion batting with velcro sewn in the back. Tail was bought online.
Son is Spongebob and was the easiest. Bought him the costume online along with the tube socks!
Baby is Mr Krabs. His costume (actually a lobster) was on clearance for $10.
