A word from Morgan, the 'Castiel' costume creator:
I am wearing my costume, and it is 100% homemade! The wings are of an original design and took about 3 months to make (although I do procrastinatae to be fair). They are made from 1" hollow aluminum tubes, lots of different sized screws, bolts nuts, washers, etc, dyed turkey feathers, fabric, pistons, wood, air tubes, and an air compressor. The wings move up and down with the flip of a switch, which is up my sleeve, due to the pistons and air compressor. The idea came from the show "Supernatural", where the angel Castiel is a recurring character on the series. His wings are never actually seen, but this was my interpretation. He also always wears a tan trenchcoat, blazer, and an upside down bright blue tie.
