Marvin the Martian Costume

My 8 year old son Coen is wearing the costume. He asked back in May if I could make it for him. I bought leggings and a turtle neck from target, spray painted a baseball batters helmet green, attached some duct tape covered foam to the helmet along with a metal pie plate covered with black material and white foam sheet eyes. I cut up a changing pad I bought from the dollar tree and duct taped it around a shoe lace to make the skirt. Lastly, I took a pair of large white adult socks and put them over coen's shoes and then wrote on them in sharpie to make marvin's shoes.
