Soft Serve Ice Cream Costume

My 9 year old Daughter loves ice cream. What better way to show it!

The cone in just vinyl fabric marked with sharpie. There is a foam wreath core to hold the shape and to attach suspenders to to hold the whole thing up as it is heavy. The "ice cream" is white nylon legs stuffed with fiber fill and glued to the top of the cone with hot glue. The sprinkles are pieces of pipe cleaner glued on. The hat is made with the same technique only using the waist part of the tights as a hat base. Paint a foam ball red for the cherry. Very simple. The vinyl was the most expensive part.

This won her the costume contest at her school!
