This homemade costume for couples entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.

My husband and I are wearing the costumes. I like to take a regular costume and put a gory twist to it. Purchased the uniforms online (ebay, and cheerleader website). Borrowed some football pad from a friend. I purchased our prosthetics and contacts online. I took both costumes and let them set in black tea overnight to give them a dirty look. Then I ripped the edging and shredded the costumes. I know a local artist that did our make up. We won 2nd place in a contest. It was an awesome time!
