This homemade costume for women entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jennifer, the 'Xena Warrior Princess' costume creator:
This is my costume and it has more personal meaning to me than anything. I have over come a lot this year (Divorce, Foreclosure, Unemployment, Custody Battle, etc etc etc...) I came out on top, and feel like I am a warrior princess in my own right. I used the dress from a Xena costume ordered online in addition to antique native american belts, wrist cuffs, antique jewelry.... and most importantly an authentic sword. This was all borrowed to me by a local antique store, Renew and Reuse.
