This homemade costume for women entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Elizabeth, the 'Winnie Sanderson' costume creator:
I made the costume from head to toes using a variety of velvets from joann fabric, gold grommets, hair spray, model magic and iron ons from my cricut. The jewelry is also custom made with the individual heels of my earrings applied by hand. The book itself is also made with leather, model magic, acrylic paint and puff paint for the stitches. This project was a labor of love and I had the best time making it. No wigs required for this one as my own hair served well enough to build Winnie iconic hair.
