This homemade costume for women entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Frankie, the 'Wind Up Doll' costume creator:
I wanted to be either a ventriloquist dummy, marionette or wind up doll but I wanted to make my costume and do the makeup myself...I couldn't get the make up right for the other two so I settled on the wind up doll. I got my dress from a thrift store for $4 and bought my petticoat skirt and striped socks for $20 ($15 coat $5 for socks) from party city. I used regular drug store make up just exaggerated it a little and added stitches on my cheeks. I had a ton of fun!!
