This homemade costume for girls entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Katie, the 'Transforming Butterfly' costume creator:
My daughter Rylann is wearing a caterpillar costume and when she turns and pulls the front panel the caterpillar part drops down and her beautiful butterfly wings and dress pops out and covers the caterpillar. I sewed the bottom of the caterpillar part to the inside seam of the dress so it can stay attached but is hidden by her other dress.
