This homemade costume for boys entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kenna, the 'Toy Soldier' costume creator:
My son Blade asked to be the little green army man from Toy Story! I started with an ordinary clothes and painted two coats of semi gloss latex paint( this gave the outfit shine!) then I spray painted threelayers of Kelly Green spray paing. We used a nerf gun he already had. The face is pantyhouse. socks for gloves. the boots are screwed down to plastic pieces cut in the middle so he can walk. My son had told everyone how much he loves his Halloween costume!
