Tootsie Roll Sweet Tooth Costume

Spartacus is an Olde English Bulldogges with a very large barrel chest so finding costumes that fit him is difficult. I decided to just make his instead. All of his Halloween costumes are custom made. I use his winter coat as a pattern and trace that. The Tootsie Roll is made out of felt. I found a font as close to the Tootsie Roll font as possible and printed it so I could make a stencil and cut out the letters. I sewed a gather on the white felt and tacked it down on the brown felt then hot glued the red ribbon over top of it to hide the stitching. After that was done I centered the letters in between the red ribbons. And hot glued them on! Bam! A big bulldog Tootsie Roll!
