A word from Leah, the 'Three Blind Mice' costume creator:
My sisters and I made these three blind mice costumes for a Halloween-themed wedding! They were the hit of the wedding, and we were super comfy dancing in our tutus and leggings. Our parents dressed as the farmer and his wife. On the wife's apron we wrote "The Mice Are Mine" and added some red paint.
The tutus were made from going to https://www.tulleshop.com/ and using three shades of blue tool. We cut 14" strips of each color, folded them in half, and threaded them through a Hobby Lobby crochet headband which went around our waists.
To make the walking sticks, we painted Michaels 36" wooden dowels with white paint, wound painter's tape around the sticks, and then painted the exposed wood a blue color to make the swirls.
The ears were simple Minnie Mouse ears from Target (with bow removed). We wore black tops and leggings, and sunglasses to complete the look. It was a great look for under $10 each!
