This homemade costume for babies entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Colleen, the 'Thomas and Sir Topham Hatt' costume creator:
Our son, Jack, is dressed as Thomas this year, with his three month old brother, Josh, as Sir Topham Hatt! Our son loves watching Thomas and enjoys trains, so I couldn't think of a better idea!
The costume is made from two diaper boxes, glued together to make the body. An 8" tube from our local hardware store was attached to make the front of the train and foam board was glued together to make the runners. Spray paint, tape, a Thomas face found online, and there you have it! I would say the cost was around $20 - but it took some serious time to put it all together and make it perfect!
