The Mummy Costume

My name is Linda and I am the Queen of Halloween. Every year I host a Halloween party for family and friends and create a "haunt" in my barn. This year's theme is Museum of Hollywood Horror and I chose to dress as the Mummy. I created a crypt in my haunt and I will be in the crypt as guests arrive. The crypt is made out of boxes and cardboard and lighted for spooky effect. I made my costume with a white turtle neck from a thrift store and white pants on clearance at Fleet Farm. I tore some old sheets into strips and splattered them with a black tea mixture to age them, then sewed them onto the top and pants. I do my own make-up with a base of peeling facial mask and tea dyed paper toweling. I add make-up to age the face and lastly wind more sheet strips around my head. I have a great love of Halloween and love decorating my barn and yard and dressing up. Thank you!
